he Mother Road, The Diagonal Highway, The Main Street of America, The Will Rogers Highway are just a few of the past names for Route 66. From Chicago to LA, I've traveled over 10,000 miles capturing images from the old road. All of these images are taken along one of the alignments. So when you see a "pavement" shot, that was/is Route 66.
Many of these images are examples of HDR photography. High Dynamic Range. All of these images are from real places....I do not take elements from one scene and add to others. These are actual photographs of actual places. I do not combine different scenes and represent it as one. Minor retouching and enhancement has been applied to the images.
About the quality.......The printed image quality will far exceed the image seen on your monitor. Monitors are not capable of producing the entire dynamic range that these images posses. If you think it looks great here, just wait till you see the real deal!!
